What is an appropriate metaphor for early careers education? Barbara and Anthony will explore different metaphors and the rationale and research that supports career-related learning in the primary school. The context is the work they are doing as NICEC consultants to the DCSF on the one-year Key Stage 2 Pathfinder project. As well as updating seminar participants on progress in the 7 LAs and 38 schools so far, they will lead a discussion on the policy implications of continuing this work beyond the pilot project.
