&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Having worked in research funding, strategy and policy for 20 years, Shewly is passionate about research careers and research culture and the critical role of evidence-based policy making and interventions. He has held senior leadership roles at both European and national levels and has contributed to shaping research and education policies, particularly in the area of doctoral training.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From 2017 to 2023, he served as Head of the Council for Doctoral Education at the European University Association (EUA-CDE). In this role, he was responsible for EUA&amp;rsquo;s work on research ethics and integrity. Until June 2025, he served as Head of International Funding Policy at the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). In this capacity, he led the development of SNSF&amp;rsquo;s international cooperation strategy and was responsible for initiating and managing partnerships with international stakeholders and for coordinating the Foundation&amp;rsquo;s Europe dossier.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dr. Hasgall holds a doctorate in Contemporary History from the University of Zurich. His research focused on memory politics and transitional justice in Argentina, and he has long-standing ties to Latin America, having worked as a human rights observer in Guatemala from 1995 to 1997.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He also serves on several international advisory boards, including the Scientific Council of the TU Munich Graduate School, and previously contributed to various EU-funded projects in advisory roles. He served as Head of Chemistry and as a Pro-Vice-Chancellor. In the latter role he created the Postdoctoral Academy and was involved in the design and building of Eddington, a new Cambridge district for university staff, students and the wider population. Since January 2017, he has been Pro-Warden for Research and Enterprise at Goldsmiths, University of London. He joined Goldsmiths in 2001 and from 2013 to 2016 was Head of the Department of Sociology. &lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Rachel has over 17 years&amp;rsquo; experience in the membership and professional body sector, with a strong track record of leading organisations through transformation and growth. Prior to joining the RSM, she served as Chief Executive and Managing Director of the British Pharmacological Society, where she led the organisation through the COVID-19 pandemic, delivered a major organisational restructure, and strengthened financial performance, including significant growth in income and net assets.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Earlier in her career, Rachel held senior leadership roles at the Royal Society of Biology, including Director of Membership &amp;amp; Professional Affairs and Director of Education and Training, where she led multi-disciplinary teams, grew membership and commercial services, and played a key role in shaping education, accreditation and professional standards across the sector.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Rachel is known for her collaborative and values-led leadership style, with a focus on empowering teams, building strong partnerships, and delivering impact for members and the wider healthcare community. Roger is the founder and Academic Director of Supercomputing Wales and has previously held the roles of Head of the School of Computer Science and Informatics (2009-2013) and Dean of Research for the College of Physical and Engineering (2012-2021). Roger&amp;rsquo;s research focuses on the intersection of human and machine intelligence, spanning disciplines including psychology, sociology and engineering. His work in this area has been sponsored via EPSRC, IBM, EC, Dstl and industry partners.
