Reports to: Head of Learning & Development

Location: Cambridge (hybrid)

Salary: £31,000 to £37,000 per annum, pro rata if part time

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join our growing team at the Careers Research and Advisory Centre (CRAC), which manages the Vitae programme, a not-for-profit programme which leads on and advocates for the professional development of researchers in the UK and internationally.

The Researcher Development Manager will join our learning and development team, which develops and delivers tailored professional and career development programmes for researchers. You will manage and deliver a range of researcher development related projects and programmes, building and supporting business opportunities. You will also manage the development of new and existing Vitae researcher development resources, products and services, and support the the wider Vitae programme, working across teams to ensure the successful delivery of events and other projects, including facilitation of workshops.

The successful candidate will likely have experience of working with universities in the UK and internationally in relation to professional development. You will have excellent project management skills and experience of developing professional development resources, products, services and learning and development activity. Understanding and/or experience of researcher development is highly desirable.
